Geribello Engenharia knows that for a successful social work it is necessary to establish a reliable relationship with people from the community. More than that, it is necessary sensitivity and knowledge. It is where Geribello Engenharia stands out. This because its specialized staff has had the experience in about 180 enterprises executed for Housing and Urban Development Company (CDHU) of the State of Sao Paulo since 1990, benefiting more than 50,000 families.

Geribello staff has credibility and knows how to do it. Its main tools are dialogue, experience exchange and respect. For this reason, along with community leaders it seeks to set up a working plan that allows the clearance of hundreds of families from an irregular area occupation to a new condominium, everything in common agreement. Geribello is the first to arrive. It does the survey of families, explaining what will be done. It leaves the site only after concluding the project, ensuring that everything is within the established and that both parties are satisfied.

Finally, Geribello Engenharia social staff promotes meeting in order to guide residents in how to choose an apartment building manager, preserve the apartments and common area, as well as regarding the payment of taxes and other obligations. Geribello also takes part in the program of generation of jobs and income together with community members. This rewarding work ends up adding more value to our employees and, especially, increasing clients´trust on their business.

Projeto Paredes-Pinturas

The Project was managed by Geribello and had the artist Mônica Nador as part of the team for 6 months. Together with a group of young people from Jardim Miriam and many other artists from “Ação Educativa”, Mônica Nador took the risk and did art with residents from Lamartine and Dominicanos, Jardim Santo Andre centers which have already received urbanization works. They participated in stencil, graffiti and mosaic workshops, discussed urban art concepts and techniques, produced masks and molds and, finally, started ornamenting the neighborhood.

In order to get the community involved, CDHU promoted the project "Amigos da Praça" managed by Geribello, so that they could establish a clearer identity between the space and the community. Youngsters and children made mosaics, pieces of clay, panels on concrete rereading famous painters´ pieces of art, and graffiti which ornament the square. In Jardim Santo André, the community area has a skateboard park with concrete bleachers, a soccer society court, a basketball court, benches, tables and landscaping.
